Julie Dorsey, a former advertising copywriter and public relations specialist, has been writing fiction for over a decade. The Peacemaker’s Wife, inspired by the life of her great-great-grandmother, has received recognition from the Historical Novel Society, Killer Nashville, and editors from Sourcebooks and HarperCollins. She lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband and autistic son, in the same region where her ancestors settled more than 200 years ago.
